Are there fees for transfers to Switzerland?

With our Swiss bank, we can receive Euro payments from all over Europe. Unfortunately, however, some banks charge their users unexpected fees for payments to accounts outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Although Switzerland is part of the Schengen area but not part of the EEA, these fees are also charged for payments to Switzerland.

When transferring money from the EEA to a Swiss bank account, you should first ask your bank about additional charges.

We know that the following banks charge additional fees for payments to Switzerland. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list.
