What are order and payout statuses?

Orders#

With Pocket, you can buy and sell bitcoin by creating One-time or Recurring orders:

• One-time orders can be created for both buying and selling and are valid for a single use.
• Recurring orders are currently available only for buying and can be used repeatedly without limits.

<span className="text-green-700">Active</span>#

A Recurring order will always remain in the Active status unless canceled. Any payment sent to Pocket will be processed automatically without changing the order’s status. Recurring orders are ideal for a set-and-forget DCA strategy.

<span className="text-yellow-400">Waiting for payment</span>#

A One-Time order will remain in the Waiting for payment status until Pocket receives the corresponding payment and processes the payout.

Payouts#

Each time a payment is received by Pocket, regardless of the order type, a new payout will be created with one of the following statuses:

<span className="text-yellow-400">Processing</span>#

A payment has been received and successfully exchanged. The corresponding proceeds are now scheduled for payout.

• For buy orders, the bitcoin will be delivered by the end of the day (after 20:00 CET).
• For sell orders, the payment is initiated on the same day.

<span className="text-green-700">Completed</span>#

• For buy orders, bitcoin have been paid out and sent to your wallet.
• For sell orders, the proceeds from your sale have been sent to your bank account. The funds may take a few days to arrive, depending on the processing times of the recipient’s bank.

<span className="text-red-500">Refunded</span>#

A payment has been received but it couldn't get processed.

• For buy orders, a refund has been initiated, and the payment should be returned to your bank account within a few days.
• For sell orders, bitcoin will be sent back to your wallet.
